Texas lawsuit: Pennsylvania resident sues foreign companies for asbestos exposure

Robert Plummer is a Pennsylvania resident that was exposed to asbestos fibers, when working in Texas for o foreign company. He was exposed to high levels of asbestos dust and it seems that the asbestos fibers present in the air have caused him injuries at the respiratory system.

Robert Plummer has filed mesothelioma lawsuit against T&N Limited and TAF International Limited by their agent, The Federal Mogul Asbestos Personal Injury Trust.

“I’m now force to live with the fear, distress, and mental anguish caused by the knowledge of living with the terminal disease mesothelioma” Plummer said public.

Plummer said that, when working for T&M Limited, he inhaled asbestos fibers from materials used in his work. Asbestos is a natural mineral, and if used in construction materials and products it can appear under the form of asbestos fibers speeded in the air, asbestos fibers which are very dangerous if swallowed or inhaled.

TAF Limited International defendant, is a United Kingdom subsidiary of T&N and is a foreign corporation, formerly know as Turner Asbestos Fibers Limited. The court decided that the corporation owners and managers didn’t take the right steps to inform and to present protection measures of asbestos exposure to workers.

Plummer believes that “the defendants consorted with other representatives of asbestos industry to cover up and minimize the known danger associated with asbestos containing products”

If the defendant conduct was intentionally and it also was a conscious indifference to the rights of people the plaintiffs will ask for punitive damages. Plaintiffs are represented by South Carolina Attorney.
