The wife of a former Texas resident filed a second mesothelioma claim towards employers, claiming that their negligence caused the death of her husband. The deceased worked as a laborer, carpenter and furnace technician. The deceased’s wife says that during these jobs her husband was exposed to asbestos in Texas which resulted in mesothelioma, a very rare type of cancer that has also caused the death of her loved one. It is one of the many cases of mesothelioma in Texas.
Mrs. Denson says that the former employers of her husband failed to warn the deceased about the dangers of working around asbestos unprotected, this being the basis of her trial. She also states that the companies continued to manufacture the products even after becoming aware of the dangers. The mesothelioma lawyers in Texas say that the worker wasn’t even aware of the fact that he was working around asbestos.
The small fibers contained in the asbestos materials are the cause of the diseases that the husband of Mrs. Denson was suffering from. After they have implanted themselves into the body, it is only a matter of time until the person starts to experience mesothelioma symptoms. Most of the times this leads to a slow and painful death.
This is the second mesothelioma lawsuit filed in Texas by Mrs. Denson involving asbestos related injury claims, different from the first one she filed. There are numerous companies named in this mesothelioma trial, such as Babcock Borsig Power, CBS Corp., A.O. Smith Corp. General Refractories Co., Ingersoll Rand Co., Cleaver Brooks and Lockheed Martin. The plaintiff is seeking several types of mesothelioma compensation in Texas, including pre and post trial interest and all costs covered by the defendants.
